About JACC: Advances

JACC: Advances is an open-access, peer-reviewed, cardiovascular journal that publishes original research papers, state-of-the-art reviews, and expert panels focused on cardiovascular medicine, including emerging areas. The Journal considers a broad range of original research studies including clinical, experimental investigations with clear clinical relevance, epidemiological, and healthcare policy studies that advance cardiovascular health. It strives to appeal to authors across the spectrum of the cardiovascular care team at every career stage. The Journal is currently accepting submissions online and publishes monthly. In-press articles are published online regularly.

Examples of specific content areas of interest are as follows: arrhythmia and electrophysiology, cardio-obstetrics, cardiovascular surgery, congenital heart disease, coronary heart disease, critical care cardiology, digital health and health technology, genetics and genomics, geriatric cardiology, global health, health services and outcomes research, heart failure, cardiac imaging, interventional cardiology, neurocardiology, pediatric cardiology, preventative cardiology, sports cardiology, valvular heart disease, vascular medicine, and emerging fields in cardiovascular medicine.
