The ACC’s Scientific Publications Committee is seeking applications for the position of Editor-in-Chief of JACC: Heart Failure. The Editor-in-Chief will serve a five-year term beginning in Q1 2022, with the possibility of reappointment for an additional five-year term. Applications are due on or before Oct. 25. Learn more.

Candice Silversides, MD, will join the family of JACC Journals as the inaugural editor-in-chief of the newest journal, JACC: Advances. Dr. Silversides is a professor of medicine at the University of Toronto and chair in Pregnancy and Heart Disease at the Miles Nadal Heart Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she leads the Obstetric Medicine program and is director of the Cardio-Obstetric clinic. An accomplished physician and researcher, Dr. Silversides will lead the new journal in its pursuit to advance the next generation of academic cardiologists and cardiovascular researchers. Read more.
